ENERGY USE, MADE CLEAR
Power Audit Calculator for your site.
Build an energy-use baseline and explore improvement scenarios with assumptions you control.
Understand your energy use.
Use the average units from recent bills. One electricity unit equals 1 kWh.
Examples are a starting point. Replace them with your equipment; up to 12 items.
Enter the energy charge per unit, excluding fixed charges, taxes and demand charges.
Choose a reduction to explore. This is your scenario, not an audit finding or promised saving.
Optional: enter your project cost to estimate simple payback. Zero means no cost entered.
Live estimates stay in this tab. Contact details are shared only when you request a report.
Transfers only monthly kWh and energy tariff. Improvement assumptions stay here.

ENERGY USE, MADE CLEAR
Understand the energy baseline.
Start with average monthly units, or build a load list using equipment power and operating patterns. The result is a preliminary energy scenario; a site audit establishes measured performance and practical improvements.
Which input method should I use?
Use monthly units if recent bills give a reliable baseline. Use the equipment list to understand the contribution of individual loads. Replace example items with your equipment, running watts, operating hours, days and average-use percentage.
Does the improvement percentage predict my savings?
No. It is a scenario you choose. Actual savings depend on measured conditions, operating practices, production levels and the selected improvements. A site audit is needed before treating a percentage as achievable.
Why does the estimated cost differ from my bill?
The calculation covers energy charges only: kWh multiplied by the entered energy tariff. It excludes fixed charges, demand charges, taxes, penalties and slab-rate effects. Monthly use is multiplied by 12; seasonal changes are not modelled.
What carries across to the Solar Calculator?
Only monthly consumption and the energy tariff are transferred when you choose the transfer link. Equipment details, improvement percentages and project cost stay in this tool. The transfer expires after five minutes.
